A Get Away To Wales

Today was the big day I drove to Wales, yes I was a little nervous but knew once I did it, I could feel confident to drive anywhere.

Sam and I gathered up lots of snacks and headed off!

We arrived just in time for some Lunch, Our first stop was Porthcawl where Sam grew up as a little boy (I'm pretty jealous he grew up right next to the beach, look how beautiful it is).

We spent a couple of days here, spending time with Sam's family and having a little explore, the last time I visited Wales was when I was only 11 years old so I don't remember too much, I've heard so many people say how beautiful it is so I just had to take the opportunity with two hands and come back and I'm so glad I did.

One evening, when the sun started to hide behind the clouds, Sam and I thought I'd be a good idea to drive to the sea front and have a little walk on the beach. Being brought up in the city I never had somewhere to go like this, so I really appreciated every second being with my favourite person and looking at a view like this. It has made me realise how important moments like this is and that you always have to cherish them.

Our next stop was Cardiff, of course the first thing we do is shop.

After hours of shopping (Sam's fault) we walked to Cardiff Castle.

How beautiful is Cardiff Castle!

Sam's Nan insisted we visited Cardiff Bay as she said I'd love it, well she was right, I never wanted to leave.

Snap away Sammy!

Our plan to camp on the Brecon Beacons had to be canceled because of such bad weather conditions, but you don't worry next time we are down we will be 100% doing it.

It was so lovely to get away for a couple of days and make some incredible and unforgettable memories.

Until next time Wales, you've been a pleasure.

An Afternoon in Greenwich

It seems like whenever we have beautiful weather you've gotta grab the opportunity with two hands, go and make the most of it as it probably won't last for very long.

So today I decided to pop on the tube and head to Greenwich.

As I was melting away in the heat, I couldn't not walk past an ice cream shop and not buy something. I opted with getting lemon and bubble gum, I can truly say I decided well.

There's nothing quite like Greenwich's pretty houses when the suns shining.

I wanted to wear something really light and comfy as today was scorching so I thought this Maxi dress was absolutely perfect as its quite light & baggy but really flattering. I then matched it with some brown Gladiators.

Im not really a jewellery lover, but today I really felt like wearing something, I didn't want anything too much so I thought theses bracelets would be just right for just a little something.

Greenwich is known for its beautiful observatory so I couldn't not go and take a look.

Who doesn't like a cute little market? Well the one in Greenwich is honestly one of the nicest ones I've ever been too.

After all this walking around I had to go get something to bite so Nando's sounded perfect to me.

I will defiantly be visiting Greenwich again very soon.

If anyone is interested where I bought my outfit I've linked down the links below.

My 3 High End Favourite Lipsticks

From trying and buying so many different designer Lipsticks & shades I think I can finally say I have found my perfect 3 that I know I can rely on.

Chanel Rouge Coco 454 Jean
I saw Suzie from Hello October wear this lipstick quite a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with it. If you like your plum shades you're going to be in heaven, Now this one is indisputably a plum. Purple almost in the tube, but don't let that put you off! Whats brilliant about this lipstick is that when you apply, it comes across really shear and natural looking. You can leave it like that if you would prefer, but you can also really build up the colour if you're fancying something a little bit more bold. It is also ridiculously moisturising which is a massive plus for the colder months.

Ted Backer Rose Red

I got this 'lipgloss' okay, it's a lipgloss but it sets just like a lipstick would do so I'm going to put it under the category of a lipstick. The gorgeous bright red 'lipgloss' came in a Ted Baker christmas gift set last year and haven't stopped using it since (I'm sure they still sell the set, or even on its own). It applies really glossy and drys matte so you won't have to worry about it slipping and sliding around, you would think because it drys matte it would be really drying on your lips but surprisingly it doesn't do that at all.

Mac Lipstick Satin Rebel
You can never go wrong with any of the Mac lipsticks. I have only been able to get my hands on some of them (but don't worry I am putting some I have had my eye on, on my christmas list this year), But so far I would say Rebel is my favourite lipstick from Mac, It kind of has the same under colours as the Chanel Lipstick I was talking about first but is much more darker and much more pigmented. Whats also great is that it is satin based so it beautifully glides onto the lips making it feel really comfortable to wear which I love because some dark lipsticks are really difficult to wear because of how drying they are, but you don't have to worry about that with this Lipstick.

I hope I've given you some inspiration to head down to the shops and pick up some new lipsticks.

A Autumn Stroll

I think my favourite thing to do around this time of year is to put on some big boots, a long warm coat and a snazzy hat and go walking through the forest. I find it so relaxing and calming, I would do it every day If I could.

I put this outfit together, I will link below details If anyone is interested.

I think it's really important to take an hour of your week to turn of your phone, wrap up warm and go for a walk where ever that may be. It can really help to unwind your brain from your crazy busy week. I think I love it as much as Bella (my dog).
